Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes

  • I led the intensive 2 week (80 hours) onboarding and training program for new instructors.

  • I was Site Manager for 3 Seasonal Learning Centers in Summer 2017, 2018, and 2019 (Salt Lake City, UT; Lake Magdalene, FL; Lutz, FL).

    • This involved the set up and management of location including, but not limited to, marketing, personnel, and client interaction.

  • I extended the On Cloud Nine math program’s sensory-cognitive process-based instruction beyond elementary concepts and into middle and high school concepts.

    • I created and led instructor workshops on higher level concepts and instruction methodology.

  • I was acting supervisor for the Tampa Learning Center during the COVID pandemic.

  • I created process documents, tracking documents, and instructional graphics for Lindamood-Bell Academy which were adopted by the entire company.

  • I contributed significantly to the transformation of physical training materials into digital and interactive training materials, especially during the pandemic when there was an urgent need for digitalization.

  • I led the Tampa Center’s first Lindamood-Bell Academy Graduation virtual ceremony and celebration.

CDISC

  • I proposed a way for our e-commerce system and LMS to connect and provide automatic course and event enrollments and notifications. I worked with both parties to implement and test this successful initiative.

  • The LMS home page was not utilized and only provided basic navigation to enrolled trainings. I redesigned the homepage to include graphics, an active calendar, helpful shortcuts and links, a functional progress tracker, announcements, and badges. I also created a separate dashboard for instructors which included helpful instructor-specific resources.

  • I developed a new product for the Education Team, Private Custom Trainings and Learning Spaces for individual organizations. With the collaboration of SMEs and clients,
I created custom training material and activities, private learning environments, dashboards, reports, and forums as requested by clients.

  • I implemented a more consistent and effective style for training material and activities that matched the company brand and met learning design principles.

  • I proposed using Jira project management to my team and provided my team with Jira hierarchy templates, process documents, and demonstrations.
We successfully used Jira to manage training events and training development.

  • I created process documents for the Education Team regarding the LMS, Zoom, email templates, scheduling, Jira, online training support, and authoring tools.

  • I played a significant role in the Education department’s shift from theory-based to implementation-based trainings and harnessed authoring and editing applications to simulate real world scenarios and provide more complex assessments. This was a popular request in our learner feedback surveys and we received positive feedback after we began to make this shift towards implementation.

  • My team led a webinar to over 200 attendees on CDISC Education updates: Level Up Your Clinical Data Skills with CDISC Education*
    *My presentation starts at 23:00
